Had a great time again twice at Southampton Music in the City 2018 on Saturday September 29.
The sun was out and thankfully the predicted city traffic chaos due to an M27 bridge demolition didn’t happen. Phew !
Playing in the shell of King John’s Palace off Western Esplanade was a super experience – lo0king up top see people watching and listening from the old city walls was something else 🙂
Changed things around for the 4Q Bar and Lounge performance in Carlton Place later in the afternoon. There was a nice , relaxed vibe there and the crowd were very appreciative of my songs. Even got an invite to perform elsewhere which is always a good sign !
Thanks to Linda Norris , founder and organiser of MITC who was bowing out after 10 years – she’s done an amazing job growing and protecting the festival. James Baillie will I’m sure ensure it’s future is bright and it will continue to be one of the cultural highlights of Southampton’s calendar.
